Another fantastic Super Bowl has passed. The Detroit Lions were close to participating in this major event, but Lions supporters once again observed from the sidelines (some did, some believe they are too excellent for the Big Game, what, one NFC Championship?).

However, after a half of appalling play, the question started to linger: were the Lions capable of defeating the Chiefs?

The fact that Patrick Mahomes donned the Superman cape and performed incredible feats to win the game makes this an unusual question that is somewhat tormented. Yes, the Chiefs and Lions played in Week 1, but by the end of the season, it was obvious to everyone that the two teams were significantly different. In any case, what if?

For that solution, you need experts, and we have those here.

We’re discussing the 2023 NFL season’s last moments on this Pride of Detroit PODcast episode. Could the Lions have defeated the Chiefs, or at least fought harder than the 49ers and their tragic conclusion? That was the fundamental question that everyone was REALLY wondering about during the Super Bowl, in all its unbelievable grandeur. In addition, Frank Ragnow appears to be returning to the Lions despite some injury concerns, and Dan Campbell and Ben Johnson were overlooked for NFL awards. In addition, coaching news has returned and it’s offseason.

Our offseason will be lengthy, but it will be shorter than normal because of an active January. PODcast continues, and we’ll be providing you with more audio content in the shape of mailbags, call-in shows, and interviews during the off-season.
