Report: The North Carolina Tar Heels football star player is been suspended from all sports for placing a bet against…

In a few weeks, the NFL offseason of 2024 will intensify here, kicking off the free agency period in March. Setting the stage for the 2024 NFL draft in April, that is the first major event of the next league year.

One of the few possibilities from North Carolina is quarterback Drake Maye, who has been regarded as one of the best all season and has the potential to rank in the top three.

The competition for QB2 is becoming more exciting as LSU’s Jayden Daniels is beginning to move up the ranks and even surpass Maye in some analysts’ big boards, even though Caleb Williams is probably going to be selected number one. Bucky Brooks, a former North Carolina Tar Heel, is the most recent.

According to the NFL.com analyst’s position rankings, Daniels has surpassed Maye. What he wrote about the quarterback position is as follows:

While some teams may be put off by Daniels’ small stature, teams that are interested are enthralled with his explosive playmaking ability. The LSU standout is a dual-threat quarterback with exceptional running and passing ability that dazzles on the outside. Maye is coming off a difficult last campaign in Chapel Hill, but his prototypical measurements and tremendous arm skill garner him a lot of interest in scouting circles.

Not only is Brooks helping Daniels climb the rankings, but some people still put Maye second.

The good thing for Maye is that there are still plenty of games left until the draft, including the upcoming scouting combine and pro days.
