BREAKING: Milwaukee Bucks Reportedly Signing 14-Year NBA Player
Danilo Gallinari was recently dismissed by the Detroit Pistons, making him a free agent free to sign with any team in the league.
A 14-year NBA veteran, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, is about to join the Milwaukee Bucks.
According to Charania: “Sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium that free agent Danilo Gallinari is wrapping up a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.” This week, Michael Tellem, Gallinari’s agent, has been conferring with a number of potential champions.”
With the Wizards and Pistons, Gallinari has participated in 32 games this season and is averaging 7.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 35.5% from three-point range and 45.1% from the field.
The 35-year-old has had a great career as a supporting player and has played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Atlanta Hawks, and Los Angeles Clippers.
In 760 regular season games, he has averaged 15.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 42.8% from the field and 38.2% from three-point range.
He has also made 48 appearances (28 starts) in NBA playoff games, and he assisted the Hawks in making it to the 2021 Conference Finals, where they were defeated by the Bucks.
With a 35-20 record after 55 games, the Bucks rank among the top teams in the league and hold the third seed in the Eastern Conference.
They just finished a season in which they were defeated by the Miami Heat in the NBA Playoffs’ opening round.
