ESPN REPORT: Another Mega Star Commits To New York Giants.
The New York Giants have additional administrative tasks, such as bonus distributions and other contract-related matters, to take care of as free agency draws near in a few weeks.
The contracts of Tyrod Taylor, Adoree Jackson, and A’Shawn Robinson were terminated on February 14.
A little bookkeeping during the off-season: Yesterday saw the voiding of the contracts for CB Adoree’ Jackson, DL A’Shawn Robinson, and QB Tyrod Taylor.

Comparing Robinson’s season to his previous output, it was average at best. Despite improving toward the end, he finished with 62 tackles (34 solo), two passes defensed, and 12.5 stuffs.
Jackson was the defense’s bright spot at times, as demonstrated this season when he returned an interception for a touchdown. In addition, he had eight passes defensed, a forced fumble, and 63 tackles—49 of them solo.
Setbacks have plagued Taylor’s career from the beginning. He’s a good quarterback, but his health is a constant problem. The Giants had the worst offensive line in the league this season, so it wasn’t all his fault. Nevertheless, he completed more than 64 percent of his passes for 1,341 yards and five scores. In addition, he threw three interceptions and was sacked 17 times.
Those three players are all seasoned professionals who should have no problem landing a position. They might wind up back in blue, too, but for the time being, they are moving in the direction of free agency.
In other contract news, on March 18, the day Rakeem Nunes-Roches receives $2 million of his fully guaranteed 2024 salary, Jamie Gillan is due a $250,000 roster bonus, and Darius Slayton is due a $2.4 million roster bonus.
