Forever In Our Heart: Sad News, The Milwaukee Bucks Key Player Died in a Car Accident.

The Philadelphia 76ers have added some much-needed depth after the All-Star break. De’Anthony Melton is one of the players who has lately rejoined the squad.

Melton has started in the backcourt with Tyrese Maxey for the whole season. But now that Buddy Hield has been added, Nick Nurse has him in a bench role. After just a few games back, the seasoned guard is starting to regain his feel for the game.

After coming off the bench in Sunday’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, Melton showed promise. He ended with 16 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals in 18 minutes off the bench. Melton shot well as well, going 4-for-8 from beyond the arc and 5-for-12 from the field.

Melton discussed his comfort level after putting up such a powerful performance. In terms of conditioning, he felt considerably better on Sunday than he did in the previous game, and he claimed that gave him more opportunities to play.

“I believe that the conditioning aspect was the most significant factor for me. I was able to accomplish a lot more on the court because I felt much more in condition going into the game. Melton stated after the game, “I just have to keep getting better and working through it.”

Melton played against the Cleveland Cavaliers earlier this week in his comeback to the game. Since January 12th, he had not been in the starting lineup due to a back ailment. He finished with seven points and one rebound in 16 minutes during that contest.

Given that Hield stayed in the starting lineup, it’s probable that Nick Nurse will keep Melton off the bench in the future.
