Devin Brown, LB, of the Ohio State Buckeyes Victor Eichenberg QUESTIONABLE versus the Golden Gophers of Minnesota.

Brown’s ankle injury flared up again during team warm-ups prior to the Michigan State Spartans game, which was when he was supposed to play again last weekend. Following his absence against the Spartans last Saturday, Eichenberg’s status is “week-to-week,” according to Ohio State coach Ryan Day, who could make him available for this coming Saturday’s rivalry game against the No. 3 Michigan Wolverines.

Day declared that safety Lathan Ransom would miss the remainder of the season due to an injury sustained during that same press conference. Jim Knowles, the defensive coordinator, will turn to Josh Proctor, Denzel Burke, and Sonny Styles, the other safeties, to cover for Ransom when the Buckeyes play the Golden Gophers, Wolverines, and whoever else in the postseason.

The “Rushmen”—the team moniker for Ohio State’s defensive line—will miss defensive tackle Mike Hall. For the Buckeyes, Hall has been essential in putting pressure on opposing quarterbacks in the pocket and stopping runs in between the tackles.

On Saturday, November 18, Ohio State plays its last home game of the season against Minnesota at 4 p.m. eastern. Big Ten Network will broadcast the game nationwide.
