Suns versus. Celtics: Devin Booker’s status revealed
Devin Booker, a player with the Phoenix Suns, is doubtful for Saturday’s game against the Boston Celtics.

Phoenix: After head coach Frank Vogel first declared guard Devin Booker doubtful for Saturday’s home game against the Boston Celtics, Booker is now listed as questionable on the league’s injury report.
Damion Lee, Josh Okogie, and Nassir Little are still out.
After initially sustaining the injury last Saturday against the Houston Rockets, Booker has missed Phoenix’s following three games due to a sprained ankle.
Before the crucial matchup with Boston, he was ruled out of the last three games against Oklahoma City, Denver, and Toronto, so maybe the designation of “doubtful” is a positive move.
Though there has been much conjecture regarding Booker’s return window, most people agree that he will be back 7–10 days after his injury.
Booker’s earliest possible comeback, according to NBA on TNT’s Chris Haynes, is tomorrow against the Celtics. Had the Suns been in the postseason, he would not have missed any of Phoenix’s victories against the Nuggets or Raptors:
“Booker’s likely earliest possible return date is March 9 against the Boston Celtics, although that date is far out. However, he reportedly remained in Phoenix. He is undergoing round-the-clock medical care in order to recover quickly. I was also informed that he would be playing tonight if it were a playoff game. The Suns are simply trying to exercise caution.”
At 48-14, the Celtics have the best record in the league. At 37-26, Phoenix is presently ranked as the sixth seed in the West.
Tomorrow’s opening tip is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Arizona Time.
