Report: The Georgia Bulldogs football key player is been suspended from all sports for placing a bets against….
This fall, college football will play in a new venue. The season will run much longer due to the sport’s increased playoff field, with some clubs perhaps playing up to 17 games. With that growth and the offensive efficiency continuing to surge, records throughout the nation will be rewritten.
Carson Beck, the quarterback at Georgia, stands to gain the most. Georgia has at least twelve games scheduled. Assuming the Bulldogs have a winning record, that total rises to 13 after adding a bowl game. Make it 14 if Georgia advances to the SEC Championship. If they were to lose that game and yet advance to the playoffs and win the title, they would advance to game 14 in the round of 12, game 15 in the round of 8, game 16 in the semifinals, and game 17 in the championship. You get the idea. Beck has lots of opportunities to fling the rock about.

In addition, Beck will be leading Georgia through a challenging schedule. In addition to playing a plethora of other excellent teams like Ole Miss, Clemson, and Kentucky, the Bulldogs will take on two teams from last year’s CFP: Alabama and Texas. Beck will need to be the offensive engine, just as he was for the offense in 2023; any success Georgia has will start and conclude with him. Georgia will face challenging opponents, strong defenses, and possible deficits. All of those point to him being a good football thrower in the upcoming season.
Carson Beck averaged 281.5 yards per game in his debut season. Beck could likely throw for over 4,500 yards in 17 games, significantly surpassing the existing record of 4,127 yards set by Stetson Bennett in 2022.
Expect that total to rise as well, since he scored 24 touchdowns in the previous campaign. On numerous drives that ended with a running back knocking the ball in from close range, Beck was the “victim” of circumstances. Many of those deep plays should become scoring plays with Beck’s receivers having had the whole offseason to work with them, increasing his total above thirty.
Carson Beck, who is starting his fifth season at Georgia, has an arsenal of weapons, a complete offseason as the starting quarterback, and a coaching staff that has faith in him. This fall, he has the potential to light up the college football landscape.
