Despite being among the league’s hottest teams at the end of December, the Chicago Bears were sadly unable to secure a postseason berth.

Expectations seem to be shifting in favor of the Bears ending the season on a high note as they prepare for their season finale against the Green Bay Packers in the upcoming week.

Notwithstanding the 2023 season’s final result, the Bears’ incredible turnaround this year—particularly in the latter part of the campaign—indicates that the team will soon experience success.

With their backs to the wall, the Bears produced their finest football during the final month of the season. Even though there won’t be a chance to go to the playoffs, the team should still be proud of their resilience.

In the last month of the year, the team went 3-1, winning all three games at home. Few teams will want to play at Soldier Field late in the season going forward, as the Bears’ +42 point differential at home in December showed. The Bears’ solitary defeat in December came from a three-point loss to the Cleveland Browns, who have since won four straight games.
