“I AM EAGER TO LAND” Formal Atlanta Braves Star Announced His Return As Atlanta Braves Key Player Departed.
In the fifth round of the 2023 MLB Draft, the Atlanta Braves took a chance on a gifted athlete who was fresh out of North Atlanta High School, selecting him with the 162nd overall pick.

If the name Drake seems familiar to you, it’s because his brother, Kenyan Drake, was a running back for Alabama and the NFL. He won’t be 19 until July, but right now he is the Braves organization’s No. 22 prospect. Players like Spencer Strider and Michael Harris have made incredible ascents through the minor league ranks. Given his talent, Drake might be the next player to climb through the minor league ranks quickly. He might wind up playing left field for Atlanta. One day, we might have Acuña in right field, Drake in left field, and Harris in center field.
