Although West Brom has faced its fair share of injuries this season, it appears that the room for treatment may be shrinking.

The biggest injury to Carlos Corberan has been up front, where Daryl Dike has been out for a while and Josh Maja has been out for two months. After experimenting with John Swift in a forward role and seeing some success, the dreaded injury curse struck once more, forcing Corberan to make do with the team he has.

In-lease Just before the international break, Brighton forward Jeremy Sarmiento made a much-needed comeback from the bench against Hull City. Although he hasn’t had much of an impact thus far, there is hope that he willas the Seagulls evaluate the loan situation prior to the start of the New Year.

 

This summer, The Hawthorns lost a number of players, but Corberan was unable to replace them due to financial constraints. As a result, players like Alex Mowatt and Cedric Kipre earned their spots back in the squad by returning from loans at Middlesbrough and Cardiff City. Although there isn’t currently anyone on loan that stands out as someone who could strengthen the team, thankfully, the injury list is getting smaller.

 

The Baggies’ next game is on Saturday, November 25, against Ipswich Town. Due to the condensed schedule and the holiday season, this will be the first of a busy month of games.
