After quarrelling with the head coach, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers key player departed from the team.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are undergoing some adjustments, as every team does as one season concludes and a new one starts. The hiring of a new offensive coordinator in the wake of Dave Canales’ departure to take a head coaching position with the Carolina Panthers is one of the adjustments and difficulties the Buccaneers will encounter.
As previously indicated, Canales left his position as the Buccaneers’ offensive coordinator after just one season in that capacity. With the arrival of Canales, the Bucs offense developed a new culture that enabled Baker Mayfield to rediscover his passion for the game. After a thorough search, the Bucs hired former Kentucky and Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Liam Coen to fill Canales’ position.
With Liam taking over for Canales, not much is likely to change as the two have a similar approach to managing an offense, and Liam’s previous relationship with quarterback Baker Mayfield also helps.
