The New York Mets have released a few teasers for (possibly) their new City Connect uniform, which means the next few days will be interesting.
The posts, which included a 15-second embedded video and the words “Coming next Friday,” were shared on their various social media channels. Have a look:

The clip opens with a crowded New York crosswalk, followed by the orange “NY” logo of the Mets encircled by IYKYK. The phrase “If you know New York, you know” is formed by them collectively.
But when the colors start to fade and the Mets logo turns from orange to purple, things start to get really interesting after about two seconds. Indeed, purple.
