In the midst of DJ Reader’s season-ending injury, the Bengals sign defensive tackle Travis Bell.
CINCINNATI — The Bengals added rookie defensive tackle Travis Bell off of waivers after learning that DJ Reader is done for the season.
Having begun his career on the Bears practice squad, Bell has made two tackles in eight games with Atlanta this season. This season, he has played 30 defensive snaps and has a 51.9 PFF grade.
For the remainder of the season, Cincinnati will rely on a wealth of depth to take Reader’s snaps.
