LeBron James has occasionally carried Ham, but when it comes right down to it, Ham hasn’t proven to have the abilities necessary to be a successful long-term coach. Sometimes, he places players in positions that are not always optimal for their skill sets, and his rotation decisions are highly dubious.

The front office is undoubtedly aware of this, and if the Lakers don’t live up to the hype, Ham might be let go. He needs to adjust a few things to better utilize the team in order to prevent that.

Since it is obviously ineffective, this is the most obvious adjustment that must be made. With 13 games this season where he has played 30 minutes or more, Taurean Prince is averaging the third-most minutes among Lakers players. This season, Prince has played in more 30-minute games than he did in the three years prior combined.
