Forever In Our Heart: Philadelphia Fly Eagles star Player dies in car crash.

One of the two college students died in an automobile accident in Georgia was Hugh Douglas, the son of radio broadcaster and former Philadelphia Eagles great Hugh Douglas.

The fatal collision happened on Monday. The Morehouse College verified that Douglas, a student, and his buddy and roommate Christion Files Jr. perished in the collision.

According to a statement from the school, Douglas was a Goldman Sachs Fellow, an AltFinance Fellow, and a member of the Morehouse Business Association. Files Jr. majored in business administration, served as the junior class council’s media chair, co-captain of the Morehouse track and field team, and was a member of the Morehouse Business Association.

 

A Morehouse representative commented, “We must come together as a community to remember and celebrate the lives of Hugh and Christion during these difficult times.” “They leave behind a legacy of greatness, fervor, and commitment that will never cease to motivate us all. We send Hugh and Christion’s family and friends our sincerest sympathies. During this extremely difficult time, our prayers and thoughts are with them.

Hugh Douglas, Douglas’ father, was a former NFL defensive end. Before playing with the Eagles from 1998 to 2002, he started his career with the New York Jets from 1995 to 1997. After that, in 2003, Douglas signed on with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and in 2004 he returned to the Eagles for his last season.

In addition to being a three-time Pro Bowler (2000–2002), Douglas was the 1995 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and a member of the first and second teams of the All-Pro team in 2000 and 2002. The Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame inducted him as well.
