In Week 15, Derrick Henry has a chance to redeem himself against the Texans following a disaster.

In the past, Derrick Henry has dominated the Houston Texans; however, in their meeting with the Tennessee Titans in Week 15, the Texans outperformed Derrick Henry historically. In what might be his final game against the Texans as a Titan, Henry has the opportunity to atone for his past transgressions and get back to normal.

In Week 15, the Tennessee Titans were defeated by the Houston Texans in a close game, but it wasn’t because star running back Derrick Henry wasn’t a big factor. Henry was completely shut down in that game, which was unprecedented in the NFL since the 1950s, after years of dominance.

The worst stat line we have seen in the NFL since New York Jet Eddie Price had 15 yards on 20 touches on November 4, 1951 against a team called the Yanks, is Henry’s 20 touches for only 10 total yards. The result was very different from what we usually see when the Texans are involved.

Henry had 1,018 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns in his previous five games against the Texans. When Henry’s career ends, his dominance over his division rivals will be largely remembered, so in Week 17, he will undoubtedly want to resume his usual level of output.

Not only does Henry want to perform well, but there’s a good chance that this will be his final game as a Titan against the Texans. Since Henry’s future with the team is uncertain, he values every chance even more.
