In order to escape the relegation zone, Everton’s players need to ignore the club’s 10-point deduction, according to manager Sean Dyche.
Despite some outstanding performances since being docked points for breaking Premier League financial regulations—a penalty the team has appealed—Dyche’s team is still in fourth place, one point above Luton, who have played one less game.
Everton is currently in the middle of the table, but after winning four straight games at the beginning of December, they have more recently suffered two straight losses and a draw, albeit against Tottenham and Manchester City.
