Insider Reminds Us of Growing Tension Between Darvin Ham and Front Office in Lakers News
Things in Los Angeles right now seem a little tense.
The Los Angeles Lakers (as of Dec. 27) had a 16–15 record after losing the Christmas Day game at home to their bitter rival Boston. With just one game separating them from Phoenix, this places the team at No. 9 in the Western Conference. The Lakers would have to go to the play-in tournament if the playoffs ended today.
Though taking home the first In-Season Tournament title appeared to be a positive move, things have rapidly deteriorated in the last few weeks.
Since beating Indiana, the Lakers have gone 2-6 in their last eight games. LeBron James has been playing well, and Anthony Davis has stayed both healthy and productive.
However, the rest of the squad has been woefully inconsistent — from shooting the basketball to defending the opposition.
