ESPN REPORT: The two standout Philadelphia Eagles players have been suspended after it was discovered that….
Eagles general manager Howie Roseman hinted at the prospect of bringing Arryn Siposs back to the practice squad at a press conference on Tuesday night. By doing this, the team would have the chance to start the season with him at full strength three times before having to make a decision to use him.
Roseman stated, “We’re interested in bringing back a lot of these guys that we cut today.” We have a practice squad, and we’ve discussed having flexibility in those positions and having a roster of 69 players instead of 53. Sip would undoubtedly agree that the season didn’t end how we had hoped when you consider it, but he also exudes confidence in his skills. Thus
We’ll just wait and see what transpires with him and a number of these other men over the course of the next day, and we’ll attempt to get some of these guys back.
When Siposs lost time due to an ankle injury last season, the Eagles treated veteran punter Brett Kern similarly, placing him on the practice squad for three games before promoting him to the squad.
