According to reports, one of Texas A&M’s SEC opponents has given up on Aggies sophomore wide receiver Evan Stewart through the NCAA Transfer Portal.

As reported by Pete Nakos of On3 Sports, a writer covering collegiate sports business and transfers, the Tennessee Volunteers are “moving on from recruiting Evan Stewart,” citing sources.

Stewart is projected to charge a huge amount of money as he is the top player left in the portal, with a price of $1.4 million for his name, picture, and likeness. The phenomenal sophomore wideout said via X on Tuesday that he will put his physical and emotional well-being first wherever he goes.

The good news for the 12th Man is that other SEC rivals Alabama and Texas are supposedly “not really considering” as possible destinations for Stewart’s next move. As stated in the study,

, he’s going for colleges like Oregon, Florida State, and Ole Miss.

Stewart would become the third Aggies talent to transfer from Bryan-College Station to Ole Miss in the past month, following Anthony Maddox and Walter Nolen, if he choose to enroll in the Rebels’ program.
