Rams sign DE Earnest Brown IV back to the practice squad after…

Earnest Brown IV was welcomed back by the Los Angeles Rams a day after he was waived from the active roster. On Tuesday, they added him to the practice squad while holding onto the fifth-round pick in 2021.

Despite playing just seven games and 56 defensive snaps this season, Brown has been a healthy scratch for the most part. Nevertheless, the Rams obviously want to retain Brown around as depth along the defensive line and continue to develop him on the practice squad.

Despite being drafted 174th overall in 2021, he has only appeared in 12 games over the past three years, with three of those starts coming in 2022.
