NFL Playoffs 2024: The Houston Texans dominate the Cleveland Browns, and Joe Flacco and Bryce Young are involved in unfortunate pick sixes.

Veteran quarterback Joe Flacco has made history by setting an embarrassing record with Bryce Young. In a rematch of their Week 16 loss to the Browns at the same location, the Texans are dominating their home field. The Texans completely dominated the Browns, winning 45–15.

Joe Flacco looked out of touch and will look back on this game as one of his worst, while CJ Stroud broke major records. His two interceptions have been crucial and have all but eliminated the Browns’ hopes of a comeback.

Joe Flacco, the quarterback, is not well-known for his back-to-back drive performance. In the few minutes that separated them, Flacco was intercepted twice, and both times the Texans gained touchdowns. There were six minutes left in the third quarter when the first disaster occurred. The score was increased to 31 when Steven Nelson picked a sitter and ran to the end zone. Christian Harris intercepted and ran for a touchdown minutes later. Once more, the veteran produced consecutive pick-sixes.

“Another Houston pick six,” the NFL captioned a video of the play on X. With that, the Texans increased their lead to 38-14 and eliminated any possibility of a comeback in the fourth quarter. This season, Joe Flacco is only the second quarterback to pick six in a single game. Last season, Bryce Young played this way for the Panthers following two interceptions by Kenny Moore during the team’s 27-13 loss to the Colts.
