iowa hawkeyes women’s basketball Vs Nebraska Cornhuskers Has Been Postponed Due To…
Iowa’s Davenport (KWQC) The highly anticipated women’s basketball match between #3 Iowa and #14 Indiana on Saturday night may be rescheduled as a result of the winter storm causing travel delays. The Hoosiers will attempt to fly to Iowa on Saturday morning instead of tonight, but the game will still go on as scheduled.
Coach Lisa Bluder of Iowa stated, “Hopefully we have a game tomorrow. That’s what I’m hoping for.”
Tomorrow night’s tip-off time at Carver-Hawkeye Arena is scheduled for 7:00.
Bluder declared, “We’re going to play as if the game is tomorrow.”
“That’s how we have to proceed. And so, we’ll have our normal practice today as if we were preparing for tomorrow. That’s what you have to do in my opinion.”
If Indiana can’t make it to Iowa City and the game is postponed, Iowa and Indiana will have 48 hours to agree on a new date to play the game, otherwise, the Big Ten will make the decision.
