Coach Dan Campbell of the Lions claims to have numerous receipts. After his big victory, he isn’t ready to show them.

Michigan’s Allen Park (AP) — Dan Campbell possesses invoices. Simply put, he’s not quite ready to give them up.

The Detroit Lions coach stated on Monday, one day after his team defeated the Los Angeles Rams to earn the franchise its first postseason victory in thirty-two years, “There will be a time and place for that.”

The NFC’s No. 2 seed, Detroit, will host two postseason games in one postseason for the first time in team history on Sunday when it plays Tampa Bay, which defeated Philadelphia 32–9 on Monday night. The divisional round matchup takes place next Sunday.
Almost three years ago, when the Lions offered Campbell his first opportunity to lead an NFL team on a full-time basis, some laughed at him for saying that his teams would “bite a kneecap off” and kick opponents in the teeth.

More jokes were directed at Campbell after his 1-6 record in 2022, which came after his three-win debut season.

One of the four teams without a Super Bowl appearance, he has assisted in revitalizing a long-struggled franchise.

The Lions won a division title, which allowed them to play a playoff game at home for the first time in thirty years. This was only their second playoff victory since they won the NFL championship in 1957.
