Caitlin Clark’s record-breaking $78,000 basketball card sale in women’s sports
With the second-highest expensive sports card sale in all of women’s sports and the most expensive sports card sale in women’s basketball, Caitlin Clark has broken previous records.
Following a week of bidding, the unique 2022 Bowman University Superfractor Caitlin Clark Rookie card went up for $78,000 on Thursday night.
Eric Whiteback, the Collectibles Guru, wrote about the auction on X. He claimed that the card had surpassed Sabrina Ionescu’s previous record of $11,500 for the most costly women’s basketball sports card.
He added that Caitlin is currently only trailing Serena Williams after defeating well-known athletes Mia Hamm and Naomi Osaka.
