Who Will Be the MVP of the Montreal Canadiens in 2024?

The Canadiens are just one team that has a most valuable player. Every team has one. Carey Price held that title for a long time, maybe even during the years he wasn’t able to play (cough* 2015–2016 *cough). However, since Carey Price has officially retired, someone else has had to assume that role.

Nick Suzuki seemed like the obvious choice the previous season. He was the only player to participate in all 82 games, as many important players did not even make it to 50 games. Along with leading the team in goals with 26, he also led the team in points with 66. He accomplished all of this while donning his jersey’s “C” for the first time.

The goal for the Canadiens this season is to stay healthy and make this a much harder question to answer. That ought to be the case when healthy, as the Canadiens have players beyond Suzuki all the way up the roster. However, as the previous two seasons have demonstrated, being healthy is not a given.

In order to keep their players on the ice, the Canadiens took action this offseason to prioritize their health. In light of this, let’s examine some potential selections for the team MVP for the 2023–24 campaign.
