Arkansas is dominated by No. 9 football, 48-14.

Arkansas’s FAYETTEVILLE In the Battle Line Rivalry – presented by Shelter Insurance – regular season finale at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, the #9 Missouri Tigers (10-2, 6-2) dominated the Arkansas Razorbacks (4-8, 1-7) in a 48-14 victory. Cody Schrader’s legend continued to grow, and the Missouri defense forced four turnovers that turned into points and one that ended the game.

The Tigers led 20-0 at the half thanks to 192 yards of ground gains from Schrader, who also scored MU’s first touchdown on a two-yard run in the opening quarter. With 27 carries, he gained 217 yards by the end of the game. He currently has 1,489 rushing yards for the season, which is the third-highest total in Mizzou history. With his fifth straight 100-yard rushing game, he tied the school record.

Harrison Mevis capitalized on Jefferson’s early fumble to score a 24-yard field goal. During the game, Mevis also kicked six extra points and a 22-yard field goal with :49 remaining in the first half, Missouri’s 14th touchdown in the last two minutes of a half this season. Following an erroneous kickoff by Arkansas’ Isaiah Sategna, Missouri’s Jamal Roberts recovered at the 11-yard line. Cook and Norfleet connected once more for a touchdown pass to extend the lead to 34-0 on the following play.

Chuck Hicks gave MU a 41-0 lead later in the quarter when he knocked the ball out of Criswell and Jay Jernigan’s hands at the 10. Jernigan then raced into the end zone for a touchdown.

The Razorbacks gained 147 of their 234 total yards in the fourth quarter, including two touchdowns.

Late in the game, Joseph Charleston returned an Arkansas onside kick; this allowed Nate Peat to carry the ball six times in a row and score Mizzou’s last points on a one-yard run. Following that, Realus George Jr. was fired.
