Eagles center Jason Kelce: “I’m not sure what the future holds for me”

Baltimore — Tight end Travis Kelce strolled across the field with his arm around Taylor Swift moments after the Kansas City Chiefs won their fourth AFC championship trophy in five years at M&T Bank Stadium, where he was met by his older brother Jason.

Travis slapped his brother on the back as he embraced him, his hand settling on the strange material of a red and gold Hawaiian shirt. The 36-year-old Eagles center Jason wore a red T-shirt underneath that was unbuttoned and bore Travis’ nickname “Big Yeti” in gold script.

“This time, you keep your shirt on, or what?” Travis yelled.

Jason said, “I mean, I did for right now.” “We’ll observe the outcome.”

Jason has been there for Travis during the Chiefs’ postseason run, even as he mulls over the end of a dismal Eagles season that included a wild-card playoff exit and considers his playing future. The Chiefs’ most recent stop was Baltimore on Sunday, where they defeated the Ravens 17-10 to seal their Super Bowl ticket.

The previous week, while supporting Travis during the Chiefs’ 27–24 divisional-round victory over the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, Jason took off his shirt in the bitter cold. Over the course of his 13-year tenure as an Eagle, which coincided with Travis’ 11-year tenure with the Chiefs, Jason has developed the ability to separate his personal setbacks from his joy at his brother’s.

Jason told The Inquirer, “As a Philadelphia Eagle, it was an extremely disappointing season, especially towards the end.” And I am eagerly anticipating the upcoming year. I’m eager to disprove people, especially in light of some of the most recent hires and Nick Sirianni. Additionally, a lot is uncertain for the Philadelphia Eagles. However, I believe that as a player, you eagerly anticipate engaging in combat with your teammates.
