“I am worthy to be traded” Arkansas Razorbacks football key player insisting to leave the team due to….

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana: As the evening went on, Arkansas was able to overcome many obstacles, but a damaged vault was not one of them as the No. 7 Razorbacks fell to No. 5 LSU in their season opener, 198.475-196.200.

Over 12,500 fans attended the game, which was expected to be several thousand more than for Saturday’s Arkansas-LSU basketball game at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The Razorbacks battled through loud screams that would break the silence during their beam routines at the most inconvenient times. But everything was thrown off when, at the start of the meet, just one gymnast from each team performed due to a broken vault.

The Razorbacks were playing with a lot of enthusiasm right from the beginning, and Cally Swaney looked to be absorbing the energy of the crowd rather than being impacted by it. She started off strong on the bars, scoring a 9.725; her only faults were a small hop on the dismount and a narrow miss on a hand-stand.

But the foundation of gymnastics is rhythm. The way the meets are run is highly regimented, and after LSU’s first vault, a malfunctioning vault apparatus severely hampered that flow. Five minutes seemed like forever to the gymnasts, but it passed while LSU’s maintenance staff worked on the vault, attempting to get it to a point where adjustments could be made.

for every gymnast one more.

The delay caught Arkansas off guard, but it had little impact on LSU. The Razorbacks’ worse event performance of the season ensued. Only one of the remaining gymnasts for Arkansas received a score of at least 9.8, and the Razorbacks had to count a 9.050 on their bars score due to two of their gymnasts falling. It was all but over after the first event, as LSU—a consistent force in gymnastics—went on to establish a school record for the total meet score.

Arkansas took a very long time to stabilize. Even when everything seemed to be going smoothly, the Razorbacks scored lower than expected ratings because they had trouble sticking landings during their vault rotation and received an unusual deduction for stepping out on the floor.
