When Martin St. Louis was appointed head coach by the Canadiens in February 2022, his only coaching experience came from his three sons playing in the Mid-Fairfield Youth Hockey Association in Connecticut.
The Hall of Famer took on a significant role with the rebuilding Canadiens after winning the Stanley Cup in 2004 with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
