The St. Louis Blues’ Robert Thomas will play for either Team Matthews, Team MacKinnon, Team McDavid, or Team Hughes in the 2024 NHL All-Star Game. He will find out today. The teams’ honorary celebrity captains and captains of each team will reveal to us tonight where Thomas will wind up for the big game.
The NHL hasn’t used the draft structure since the early to mid-2010s, and the Blues fielded some excellent players in those three tournaments (2011), (2012), and (2015). Elliott wasn’t the only St. Louis Blues player to participate for Team Foligno in the 2015 event; Kevin Shattenkirk also saw action. Shattenkirk finished with a point total of two goals and an assist, one of the team’s eleven players with multiple point totals.
